We book every kind of vacation you can imagine: from all-inclusive resorts to cruises, from organized tours to specialized individual adventures. We will handle all the details from research to booking, travel insurance to car rentals. We find accommodations that suit your needs from hotels and guesthouses to villa rentals. We schedule your daily events and provide you with suggestions for your free time. No detail is overlooked.
If we decide to work together, we will collaborate on your plans and we will create a detailed itinerary document of your trip which will be available on your smartphone or tablet, or as a PDF, if you prefer. It will contain helpful hints, your travel itinerary, and confirmations. When you book with A Well-Traveled Suitcase, we are with you every step of the way. If you run into any issues, we do our best to resolve them, so you don’t have to waste your valuable holiday time. Our goal is to always EXCEED your expectations.
The biggest question my new clients ask is, “how do you get paid”?
The truth is, in a combination of ways. Travel advisors make our living from the commission that we earn on sales of hotels, cruises and tours. Most hotels, vacation package companies and cruise lines include agent commissions in their published prices.
If you do all the work yourself online, they "pocket" the difference. Using our services means you get the customer service you deserve. You won't be spending hours on the internet, hanging on phone hold for an eternity or wasting any precious time wondering and worrying.
THE PROCESS
Step 1: Connect
Reach out and we will schedule a complimentary consultation call. This is when we get to know each other and you tell us all about your travel dream.
Step 2: Commit
Once you have decided to work with A Well-Traveled Suitcase, we will ask you to sign some electronic documents and pay our planning fee. The amount is based on the level of services required to make your dream trip a reality.
Step 3: Design
After we have received all of your forms and our fee, we begin designing your perfect vacation. You’ll be presented with one to three proposals to review. Once you choose, we will work with you to fine tune the plan.
Step 4: Enjoy
While you’re traveling, we are with you every step of the way. You’ll have the trip at your fingertips with our itinerary app. It will update you on any flight changes, give you directions to all of your activities and allow you to contact us should you run into any bumps.
